The person who creates an organization is its owner. The database checks every role. The app also hides buttons you cannot use.
Invite a teammate
- Open Members in the sidebar and select Invite.
- Enter the Email Address and choose the Role.
- Add a Personal Message if you want, and send the invitation.
LoreOwl emails a 6-character code. Your teammate selects Join one when they sign up and enters the code. An invitation expires after two days. Pending Invitations lets you copy the code, resend the invitation or cancel it. Resending gives it two more days.
Change a role or remove a member
Select a member, then Change role or Remove from organization. A removed member's work stays in the organization, and their seat becomes free.
Seats
- Solo has one seat, so you cannot invite anyone.
- Studio is priced per seat, up to 50 seats.
- A pending invitation holds a seat until it is accepted, cancelled or expired.
See Plans and billing.
Limits
- No custom roles. Owner and member only.
- No per-project permissions. Access is per organization.
- No guest or read-only role.
- No SSO, SAML or SCIM, and no audit log.
