FMOD Studio
Search the vault for audio, place it in FMOD Studio's Audio Bin, and upload what you made.
Open it
Open a project, then use the LoreOwl menu in FMOD Studio's menu bar:
- Browse the vault...
- Upload audio to the vault...
- About LoreOwl
FMOD scripts cannot show panels, so each step is a short prompt. Window > Console shows what LoreOwl is doing.
Browse
Search by name, or leave the search empty for the most recent. Only audio is listed. Pick an asset to import it into the Audio Bin. The project is marked as changed.
Upload
Pick one of the project's audio files, give it a name and tags, and upload it. Audio that is missing from disk is left out of the list, and the Console says how many.
Install
- Location:
loreowl_fmod.jsand aloreowl_fmodfolder in%LOCALAPPDATA%\FMOD Studio\Scripts - Versions: FMOD Studio 2.02 and later. One install covers every version. Tested on 2.04.00.
After installing, restart FMOD Studio.
Limits
- LoreOwl never saves the project or builds banks. Use File > Build when you are ready.
- A project path with characters such as
&or%can be refused, because FMOD passes paths through the Windows command shell. - Needs curl, which comes with Windows 10 and later. About LoreOwl tells you if it is missing.
