Krita

Upload the Krita document you are working on to the vault as a flattened PNG.

Open it

Choose Settings > Dockers > LoreOwl.

Upload

  1. Check the Asset name. It comes from the document, or Untitled if it is not saved.
  2. Select Upload to vault.

Krita exports a flattened PNG to a temporary folder, and LoreOwl uploads it. Your document and its saved state do not change. The docker shows the new version number, or tells you the vault already had the same image.

Install

  • Location: loreowl_krita and kritapykrita_loreowl_krita.desktop in %APPDATA%\krita\pykrita
  • Versions: Krita 5.2 and later. Tested on 5.3.3.

After installing:

  1. Restart Krita.
  2. In Settings > Configure Krita > Python Plugin Manager, turn on LoreOwl.
  3. Restart Krita again, then choose Settings > Dockers > LoreOwl.

Limits

  • Uploads a flattened PNG only, not the layered .kra.
  • No browsing or placing vault assets in Krita.

Photoshop

Place vault images in a Photoshop document, and upload the document to the vault.

Aseprite

Upload the sprite you have open in Aseprite as a PNG, through the running LoreOwl app.
