Photoshop
Place vault images in a Photoshop document, and upload the document to the vault.
Open it
Open a document, then choose Window > Extensions > LoreOwl Vault. Dock the panel where you want. It has a Vault tab and an Upload tab.
Vault tab
- Search, choose Images or All types, sort, and select Load more.
- Select images and Place selected. With Add to the open document as a layer on, each image becomes a layer.
- Placeable formats: PNG, JPEG, PSD, PSB, TIFF, BMP, GIF, WebP, TGA, EXR and HDR.
Upload tab
Choose a Format, enter an Asset name, Tags and a Description, then select Export and upload.
| Format | Result |
|---|---|
| PNG | Flattened to 8-bit, lossless |
| Photoshop (PSD) | Keeps layers and bit depth |
| TIFF | Keeps layers, LZW compressed |
| JPEG | Flattened, lossy |
Uploaded images are saved in the vault as textures.
Install
- Location:
%APPDATA%\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.loreowl.vault - Versions: Photoshop 2023 and later. One install covers every version.
The panel is not signed yet. Photoshop loads it only when its PlayerDebugMode setting is on. In Integrations, then Photoshop, select Let Photoshop load the panel. This setting also lets other unsigned panels load in every Adobe application.
After installing, restart Photoshop.
